SRD and IoT Services Regulatory Framework Issued by PTA

A brand new regulatory framework has been issued by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for Short Range Devices (SRD) and Terrestrial Internet of Things (IoT) Services. The regulatory framework is such that it’ll facilitate the IoT services and products operation. Furthermore, PTA has introduced that from thirty first March they’ll be accepting new packages for licenses of Class Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN).

For the improvement of the IoT eco-system, the framework shall be offering the regulatory mechanism. With the framework the expansion of the IoT provider shall be conceivable and the dream of Digital Pakistan may also be attained.
